France started off each half well then just dropped deeper and deeper when Portugal had the ball. There was no zip or fire about them. Portugal looked dangerous every time they attacked.

Deserved win for Portugal who i read have not lost a competitive match for just over 2 years? and were playing their second final since 2004, and have reached the semi on 4 times in the last 5 euros.

Decent side and Ronaldo aside have some great players, reminded me of Italy in the 82 i think it was when they won the WC after only scrapping through the group stage.

Nice one from Payet as well, had a great tournament overall and topped it off by taking out and making Ronaldo cry, hahahahaha

Re: UEFA European Championship Final - France v Portugal
Worth remembering that Deschamps never wanted to pick Payet in the first place but ended up with little choice. It seemed to be a case if he wasn''t playing out of his skin then he got pulled off. Deschamps is a cunt and France are cunts. Glad Portugal won and good to see Ronaldo cement his legacy.

As said, it does seem similar to what Greece did in 2004. Shit fucking tournamanet though, bring on Russia 18.

Re: UEFA European Championship Final - France v Portugal
Subbing PAYET was a bad descision.as we all know he's a game changer.
France didn't turn up and got beat by a side that wanted it more and got put to bed by a cracking goal.
I had France 3-1 for a sore.

Poor for the viewer, but probably because nearly every team were so well organised. A sign of the professionalism across the board now in the sport. Probably a sign of things going forward.

Can't remember the last time I switched so many games off part way through and watched something else instead in a major International tournament. Including tonight's!! Not sure if I am just getting old or the tournament was poor and boring!

They were getting coated for their shit defending earlier in the tournament.

Totally deserved victory for Portugal. Best defence in the competition and utterly ruthless when it counted most.

Excellent.

And Dixon can fuck off with the final comment of the show.

Re: UEFA European Championship Final - France v Portugal
It all depends on the particular Parisians.

The information people on the railways and the Metro seem to regard the public as their particular enemy. Although I'm part of the public, and this DOES get up my nose, I can see they are massively understaffed.

People in independent shops seem to regard the public as a nuisance much more than in the UK equivalent. You go in, wanting to buy something, but you have to wait until they finish the intriguing and LENGTHY conversation they are having with their mates.

Here, they serve you as quickly as possible (possibly to get rid of you as quickly as possible, but I'm ok with that)

The French are as ignorant as us.
Which is no bad thing.
If your on their Manor..least you can do is try and speak the lingo.
We're very similar in that respect

Well at least Payet won't be off to Real after hobbling the golden boy.

Re: UEFA European Championship Final - France v Portugal
Strangely, I've found the French, even the Parisians, quite friendly.

And half the time I HAVE seen Parisians being rude, it's to other French people.
